Owners' tool · GTM container

Your store's GTM container, built in four steps

Answer a few questions and download a Google Tag Manager file you can import: GA4 ecommerce events, the Google Ads purchase conversion, Meta Pixel with dedup IDs, and Consent Mode v2 defaults set for the UK, US or UAE.

Checking your library

One moment…

Looking for your Ecomtoolpack session in this browser.

What's in the file

Google tag and GA4 events

One Google tag for your G- ID, then a GA4 event tag per event reading value, currency, transaction ID and items from the data layer.

Google Ads purchase

A conversion tag on purchase with value, currency and order ID (so Google can drop duplicates), plus the Conversion Linker.

Meta Pixel with dedup IDs

The base pixel and ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase, each with an eventID. Send the same ID from the Conversions API and Meta counts it once.

Consent first

Consent Mode v2 defaults on Consent Initialisation, before any tag. Meta tags need ad_storage granted. Google tags use their built-in consent checks.

Tidy names and folders

Tags named Platform - Type - Detail, Custom Event triggers CE - event, variables DLV, Const and JS, grouped in folders.

Your data layer does the work

The container listens for GA4-shaped events. Shopify's custom pixel, GTM4WP on WooCommerce or your developer pushes them.

Want the whole tracking plan, not just the container?

The Tracking & Attribution skill in Ecomtoolpack plans your events from the order backwards, sets consent for each market, deduplicates Meta CAPI, sets up enhanced conversions and gives you a test checklist. Paste this container in and ask Claude to check it.
